Outdoor fabric is engineered to withstand the harmful effects of exposure to the sun, rain,humidity. Fabric is water-resistant, fade-resistant, mold-and-mildew-resistant and bleach cleanable. Stabilized UV and color pigments prevent fabrics from fading as well as becoming damaged and breaking down. Because color pigments goes to the core of fibers can be easily and safely cleaned with solvents such as bleach without losing color.
One of the best ways to keep fabrics clean is to brush off dirt or rinse with clean water before it becomes deeply embedded in the fabric. The quicker you clean spills, the easier they can be removed. However if it happened:
- Brush of loose dirt
- Spray on a cleaning solution (1/50 soap. For mildew or other stubborn stains prepare a solution of 3 bleach and 1 soap per 100 clean water
- Use a soft bristle brush to clean
- Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
- Air dry
If stain or mildew is severe, bleach amount can be increase. Please note that pure white or light colors like ivory may appear pink or yellow shades due to absorb of moisture (in high moisture or interior ventilation situations) it does not interior the fabric function. The color deviation will be eliminated by hours with a good access of sunshine the fabric and ventilation.
Covers can be machine washed in cold water. Zippers should be closed prior washing. However often washing is not recommended. Frequency of washing, heavy stirring, soaking and rubbing in water may reduce the water-repellent effect of the fabric.
Manufacturer provides 5 years warranty for upholstery fabrics covering the loss of strength or color due to normal usage and exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew.The limited warranty coverage period of five years starts from the date of original installation.
